Both of them were clearly acting at a level which probably wasn't even expected of the support cast.Įdit: Frenny's character is most bizarre. Rajkumar & Nawazuddin did a great job in their roles. Rani was largely wasted in what's essentially a cameo. Kareena's acting was surprisingly mellow yet well faced. I forgot all about it but towards the end I sort of sensed it on my own - but I guess older memories were also bubbling in the back of my head.ĭid anyone else too see that twist coming?Īamir committed hard to the role - as he usually does. The "sixth sense"-esque twist was unexpected (and mostly certainly "unique" in 2012 Bollywood) - I remember many friends complaining that character's death. Some scenes & set pieces were very crafted - but then some of the other sequences were forced & very harsh. I thought the editing & the pacing of the movie were a bit irregular. I thought the background music to convey the spooky, moody setting was really, really well used. What surprised me was I just realized "Jiya Lage Na", "Muskaanein Jhooti Hai", "Jee Le Zaraa" were from this movie's soundtrack.
